Rural Touring

Who we are

Air in G has been set up to provide financial support for communities that want to promote high quality arts events in their local village hall or community centre, but are unable to because of concerns over cost.  We work to remove those financial concerns by offering a guarantee against loss. We also help with marketing and the general organisation of the event.

What we do

The rural touring scheme was created in 2000 and has been offering an exciting packed programme of arts events each year ever since. Each programme aims to offer something for everyone ranging from music, dance, drama through to children’s theatre, magic and much more. Why not take a look over our previous programme as well as taking a peek into what to expect this year!

What people have said about the scheme

“AIR in G has made a big impact on our small village. The AIR in G concerts play an important role in maintaining our sense of community.”

Steve Rowley, Pitchcombe Village Hall

“It was an excellent evening – and wonderful to be able to provide such fantastic entertainment in our own community.”

Kaye Hunt, Alderton Village Hall

“Thank you for selecting the artistes and subsidising the event so that the risk to us is minimised. Without the safety net AIR in G provides, we would be very reluctant to stage an event such as this.”

Wendy Challinor, Bibury Village Hall
